On September 27 Amy Adams and her dear friend Sarah Lancaster attended the season launch of NBC’s Chuck at Pure Nightclub in Las Vegas. Seven pictures have been added in the gallery. I hope we’ll be able to find more.

Fans, get ready to freak out! Miss Amy Adams graces the front cover of the November 2008 issue of Vanity Fair magazine with an absolutely stunning photoshoot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, a homage to Rita Hayworth in Cover Girl and Gilda. How lucky are we, Amy’s now been on the cover of Vanity Fair twice in 2008! Check out the preview photoshoot in the gallery and also the lengthy article and behind the scenes video on the Vanity Fair website. The trailer for Doubt has now made it’s way online! It looks wonderful – Amy looks fantastic, and check uber chilling Meryl! I think this one is definitely going to be a good contender for the Academy Awards. Heres to hoping! Riikka added trailer caps earlier tonight. The nominees for the Scream 2008 awardshow have been announced. Amy recieves a nomination for Best Actress in a Fantasy Movie or TV Show for Enchanted. She is up against Selma Blair; Hellboy II: The Golden Army, Maggie Gyllenhaal; The Dark Knight, Angelina Jolie; Wanted, Hayden Panettiere; Heroes and Charlize Theron; Hancock. Taping on Saturday, October 18 from The Greek Theater in Los Angeles, CA Scream 2008 will premiere on Spike TV Tuesday, October 21 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT). Show host, presenters and musical performers to be announced shortly. Scream 2008, is an awards show is a celebration of the best in Horror, Sci-Fi, Fantasy and Comic genres.

I wanted to let all of our loyal visitors know that the site will likely not be updated a whole lot this month. Mycah is having some serious PC problems (and has been for several months) and I am going to be traveling and then returning to university late this month. Naturally, our ‘real lives’ come before the online projects. If the hiatus will last longer than a month, we will be sure to update on it again.
