Amy Adams looked nothing short of divine while attending the 2008 AFI Fest Opening Night Film Premiere of Miramax Film’s Doubt held at ArcLight Hollywood on October 30, 2008 in Hollywood, California. It looks like she had fun catching up with co-star Meryl Streep! Daily Show correspondent Aasif Mandvi will host the IFP’s 18th annual Gotham Independent Film Awards.
The Dec. 2 ceremony will also feature several star presenters, including Amy Adams, Marisa Tomei, Ethan Hawke, Patricia Clarkson, Mira Nair, Richard Jenkins, and Melissa Leo.
“Aasif is wildly funny, and now with his upcoming debut as writer, star and producer of 7 to the Palace, he’s an indie filmmaker,” said IFP executive director Michelle Byrd. “We couldn’t think of a better person to host this year’s show.”
More presenters will be announced for the New York City event in the coming weeks.

Back in 2000 the gorgeous blonde Amy Adams appeared in Buffy the Vampire Slayer as Tara’s cousin Beth in the episode titled Family (5.06). It may not be her most lovable or even memorable role ever but I think it’s pretty damn cool that she got to be a part of this amazing show, especially so early in her career.

Amy Adams presented an award to John Patrick Shanley (playright of Doubt) yesterday at the 12th Annual Hollywood Film Festival Awards Gala. Darren Le Gallo, Amy’s fiance accompanied her. We will be posting more images as they arrive.
Do I even need to say how stunning Amy looks?! Seriously this is on of my favorite looks of hers of all time. So pretty! And the adorable couple are too cute, they are so in love. ♥ Can we get an “aww”.

According to Variety, Amy Adams will star in the indie drama Daughter of the Queen of Sheba for producers Susan Cartsonis and Matt Williams (What Women Want)!
The script, written by Karen Croner based on the bio of NPR correspondent Jacki Lyden, centers on how a woman uses her mother’s madness and delusions to empower herself.
Lyden was NPR’s first correspondent on the air in the aftermath of 9/11 and went to Afghanistan soon after the Taliban fell. She’s working on a book about the secret lives of a small group of Iraqi friends and reported on the slaying of her translator by an American soldier.
