Amy Adams tells Extra:

“I am so honored to be nominated by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for Doubt, along with John Patrick Shanley, Meryl Streep, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Viola Davis. Helping to bring John’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play to the screen was one of the most rewarding experiences of my career.”

One of the things Amy has done consistently, is to reflect credit upon others in her gracious comments whenever she is honored.

In fact, just all the time, she says nice things about other people – and is careful not to say nasty things about anyone in specific.

How ladylike.

This is a mark of distinction, of true professionalism and “high class.” What if everyone conducted themselves in such a manner? Seems to me a lot of publications would either have little to publish, or would have to change their approach.

Thanks for this fine example, Amy. You make the business much better by being in it.
