One of the great mysteries of the 2012 movie calendar is whether or not Paul Thomas Anderson‘s highly anticipated film, The Master, would be released this year. The Weinstein Company will handle domestic distribution and, as was once again evidenced a few weeks back, they’re masters at Oscar campaigning. Anderson’s film, starring Philip Seymour Hoffman, Joaquin Phoenix and Amy Adams, screams “award season contender” but there had been no formal announcement. Just assumptions about a release window, according to Megan Ellison, on Twitter, telling to keep eyes on October.
Let’s wait for more news! Thanks Cigarettes and Red Vines.

Sweet! And I’ve also seen a lot of stuff floating around on the Internet of Amy currently filming Trouble With the Curve with Timberlake and Eastwood in Atlanta (I think it was Atlanta). I saw pictures of her preparing for a scene that was on location in some office building around the area. So I wonder when we’ll see that film released too. I would love On the Road, The Master and Trouble With the Curve to be released all around the same time to get a triple-dose of Amy all at once lol. Can’t wait to see the films she’s always great. I have a good feeling about 2013 finally being her year at the Oscar’s. Although as far I’m concerned she should already have 3 haha
