Tom Ford’s follow-up to “A Single Man,” “Nocturnal Animals,” has been generating buzz since its premiere at the Venice Film Festival. Winning the festival’s Grand Jury Prize, the film received critical acclaim. Ahead of its release next month, Focus Features shared a stunning new poster which features Jake Gyllenhaal and Amy Adams.
The haunting psychological thriller is based on Austin Wright’s 1993 novel “Tony and Susan,” and tells the story of Susan (Adams), a successful art gallery owner who receives a manuscript written by her ex-husband (Gyllenhaal) despite being out of contact with him for years. Dedicated to her, what shocks Susan the most is that it details a terrifying crime that she interprets as him wanting to exact revenge. Michael Shannon, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Isla Fisher and Michael Sheen co-star.
“Nocturnal Animals” opens in select theaters on November 18 and expands nationwide on December 9. Check out the poster below:
