Back in 2012 Amy Adams took part of Public Theater’s revival of “Into the Woods” – Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s musical based on stories from the Grimm brothers. We’ve only seen parts of it online, but the youtube user Bruno Cavalcanti uploaded the full performance, and you can watch it below:

How do certain celebrities wind up in the front row at fashion shows? Trying to make sense of front-row celebrity seat assignments is a recurring question as the third round of spring 2015 shows races along in Milan.
Amy Adams, the 40-year-old actress, certainly isn’t a fixture of the front row and yet there she was, two seats from Anna Wintour, at MaxMara’s show in Milan on Thursday morning. She’s only been, by her estimation, to six or seven fashion shows over the course of the last decade.
“I don’t even like the front row in the theater,” she said, in an earlier interview from a suite at the Park Hyatt Hotel, near the Duomo. “I don’t like anyone looking at me; I like to be able to have…” She held her hands at a distance, indicating a little bit of space.
WWD – Carrying forward a strategy to work with a Hollywood A-lister to advertise its burgeoning accessories business, Max Mara has tapped Amy Adams to front its fall and spring campaigns. The Academy Award nominee succeeds Jennifer Garner, who debuted in the Italian fashion group’s ads a year ago.
“Jennifer Garner was the first celebrity we worked with [on the accessories campaigns] and the feedback we received was excellent both in terms of sell-in and sell-out, and in terms of credibility,” said Giorgio Guidotti, worldwide president of public relations and communications for Max Mara Group. “This new step is a sign of continuity. The claim is the same: “Timeless is now.” These are timeless actresses, not associated to a scoop of the moment.” Guidotti underscored how Adams built her career through different roles, citing Walt Disney Pictures’ 2007 musical film “Enchanted” on to her Golden Globe this year for her performance in “American Hustle. ” Later this year, Adams will appear in “Big Eyes,” by Tim Burton, and in 2016 will star opposite Ben Affleck in “Batman vs. Superman” directed by Zack Snyder, as well as “Story of your Life” directed by Denis Villeneuve.
Adams was photographed by Max Mara’s longtime reference lensman Mario Sorrenti and the images will be unveiled in New York today, at the brand’s boutique in the city. The collaboration will be marked by a dinner for about 80 guests, including Adams, at Viceroy, hosted by Maria Giulia Prezioso Maramotti, Northeast regional retail manager for Max Mara in North America. Around 50 Max Mara windows around the world will be dedicated to the project from the end of August. Sorrenti also created a short movie on the project.

A new – very beautiful – picture from behind the scenes of Amy Adams’ first campaign for Eau de Lacoste’s women’s fragrance have surfaced! She looks gorgeous and natural in the photo, which we’ve added to the gallery. A video from the set was added yesterday, if you haven’t yet, be sure to watch it here. The brand created a scent that is like “the feeling on skin of pure white cotton fabric.”
The plan is to start the promotions online, with a ton of advertising coming later. We can’t wait to see the print ads everywhere in a couple of weeks! So exciting for our Amy!
