USAToday brings us the very first still from Night at the Museum 2. The film releases in May 22, 2009.

Amelia Earheart comes alive in the form of Amy Adams. Here, she’s next to the full-scale replica of the Lockheed Vega plane in which Earheart made her trans-Atlantic solo flight.

The Airplane and several others, including the Wrights Brothers’ Flyer were built from scratch for the film.

“The sequel introduces a new element of romantic comedy,” Levy says. “Stiller’s night guard and Adams famed pilot spark to each other on the course of their adventure.”

As earlier reported, the Doubt Los Angeles Premiere was held last night and, of course, our girl was in attendance, looking absolutely gorgeous on the red carpet in an ultra-feminine nude dress by J. Mendel. The ruched strapless dress, covered in bows, was a unique twist on the classic cocktail look, and the color was a compliment to Amy’s gorgeous locks. The actress managed to mix things up, pairing the ladylike dress with edgy accessories. Her Christian Louboutin peep-toes and red python clutch by VBH spiced up the neutral look and upped the glam factor. 35 HQs are available for your viewing pleasure; more will, no doubt, be added at a later date.

Yesterday Amy Adams and the Museum of the Moving Image honored her friend and co-star Ben Stiller in New York City. Amy pulled yet another beautiful look for this special event. Wow, she has sure been busy attending events a plenty recently! Not that we’re complaning as it is always good to see her out and about, especially looking as stunning as she recently has. Last night in Culver City, California, Amy along with Enchanted co-star James Marsden attended the 4th Annual A Fine Romance Benefit for the Motion Picture & Television Fund. Amy keeps on amazing us with her looks. In this one, Miss Adams channels the Golden Era of Hollywood with a new cute hairdo and midnight blue cocktail dress. Definitely an instant favorite for us! Amy Adams looked nothing short of divine while attending the 2008 AFI Fest Opening Night Film Premiere of Miramax Film’s Doubt held at ArcLight Hollywood on October 30, 2008 in Hollywood, California.
