Tom Ford’s A Single Man follow up Nocturnal Animals, starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Amy Adams, Kim Basinger, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Michael Shannon, Isla Fisher, and Armie Hammer have now set a release date. The drama will open on November 18th in limited release. The film will expand further on November 23rd, before going wide on December 9th. It will gets a UK release on November 4th.

An adaptation of Austin Wright‘s book Tony and Susan, the George Clooney-produced film follows two stories, one of a woman who faces dark truths when reminiscing about her first marriage. The other story is found when the woman reads a manuscript from her ex-husband, which follows a man on a family vacation which turns deadly.

“That’s an amazing script. It’s going to be a trippy movie, really unique — because it goes back and forth between two completely diametrically opposed world,” Shannon told Indiewire last year. “It’s a real head trip, half of it set in the LA art world and the other half is this grimy crime story in Texas. I’m just in the Texas part, playing a detective trying to help Jake Gyllenhaal’s character solve a crime.”
