Amy Adams Takes Grimy Role in Sunshine Cleaning

Check out this article with Amy where she was interview about Sunshine Cleaning among other things. She also stated that she wants her wedding to be “to be intimate with the big family.”

Some more snippets below:

Q: When was the last time a work of art made you cry?

A: I was at the Musée d’Orsay in Paris and saw the Edgar Degas works that I grew up looking at in books. There was a room full of Degas from different eras. The one of the dancers on stage especially moved me.

Q: Where do you feel most at home and why?

A: Just in my own house. It’s my haven. It’s a place where my friends come and feel very relaxed and where I can run around barefoot and without any makeup and return to my simpler self.

Q: Where do you feel least at home and why?

A: On the red carpet! Ha! I think that’s self-explanatory.

Elle (Canada) – April 2009

Amy graces the cover of Elle Canada for April. The shoot is not new but it still is great to see Amy gracing covers! The original photoshoot from the cover shot is 2007’s USA Today.

Amy Adams life may sound like a fairy tale now, but herroad to success was a thriller. By Ana Paula Ayanegui.

Sunshine Cleaning Los Angeles Premiere

Yesterday evening the Los Angeles premiere of Sunshine Cleaning held at Pacific Theaters at The Grove. Miss Adams was in attendance looking pretty and sophisticated in a white pant suit, paired with a black shirt and pearls. We don’t see Amy is pants often, especially here recently and she totally rocks it! Her co-star Emily Blunt also looked utterly gorgeous at the event too. Love these two beautiful and talented ladies! Sunshine Cleaning opens in limited engagements on March 13th, while expanding later this month.

Blackbook – March 2009 – Editor’s Letter

Check out this funny little blurb in the Editor’s Letter of Blackbook! Don’t forget to grab yourself a copy, as it’s on sale now!

“Hey, I’ve got an ass!” exclaimed Amy Adams at our cover shoot, sashaying in a chic but somewhat risqué number that showed off her curves. “If Kate Winslet can show hers in a magazine, so can I!” The endearing star of Junebug, Enchanted, Doubt and this month’s Sunshine Cleaning showed us another side of her saucy self while modeling a selection of the season’s sexiest designs. Those perceptions of her as a faux-naïve? Right out the door. Those perceptions of her as a kind, humble, lovely soul, I’m happy to report, stayed perfectly intact.

So begins the first of many mega-updates from the 2009 Oscar ceremony; pictures galore!

Amy was so beautiful in a red dress by Carolina Herrera and accented with a multi-gem Fred Leighton collar and black heels. She wore her hair in a lose bun.

I’ve added about 200 pictures of Amy from the big night, including arrivals, show pics and the Vanity Fair Oscar shin dig. Plenty more Oscar updates still to come! Sadly this does indeed cement the end of an awesome award season.
