Amy Adams is gracing the cover of GQ UK, on its April issue. The beautiful photoshoot is by Norman Jean Roy.
On the announcement interview she talks about the American Hustle pay gap.
I knew I was being paid less than my male co-stars. I didn’t speak about it before and I’m probably not going to speak about it forever, because I disagreed with… not Jennifer per se, but people who had opinions on how women should go about negotiating. The truth is we hire people to negotiate on our behalf, men and women… I knew I was being paid less and I still agreed to do it because the option comes down to do it or don’t do it. So you just have to decide if it’s worth it for you. It doesn’t mean I liked it.
The April issue of British GQ is available Thursday 3 March on newsstands and as a digital edition.
Hello, precious! Amy is back to a big magazine cover, and this time – due the Batman v Superman promo that is about to start – she’s gracing the cover of Marie Claire UK in its April issue. The beautiful photoshoot is by Matthias Vriens-McGrath and the issue is on stands by tomorrow.
Discussing her latest role as Lois Lane in new superhero movie Batman V Superman, Amy told us she tried very hard not to stare too much at Henry Cavill’s glorious torso. ‘In between shots it was like, “Put on a robe please, and make everyone feel less bad about themselves’” she said, adding that even her husband found it hard not to stare. ‘I had to apologise to him at one point. I’m like, “I promise I’m not that pervy.” He’s just so good to look at. My husband likes to look at him, our [five-year-old] daughter likes to look at him… we’re just a creepy family.’

The scene we glimpsed in the Batman v Superman trailer, which ties into the epic clash between Superman and General Zod in Man of Steel, is not just the source of Bruce Wayne’s rage as many have surmised, it’s also the opening scene of the film. Cavill spoke to Total Film about his take on what the destruction of Metropolis means to Bruce Wayne:
“What happens there is one of Bruce’s buildings gets destroyed and he’s trying to save all the people inside the building and he can’t. So he is this angry person who fears what Superman may do. Why are they just going to trust this super-powered alien? What if he does decide to turn against us?”
