Golden Globes: Show screencaptures

Amy got a BAFTA nomination!

The nominations for the 2011 BAFTAs have been revealed this morning. A few days ago, we told Amy was at BAFTA’s longlist, and today the final list was announced, and Amy has been nominated in “Supporting Actress” for her role in The Fighter

The surprise is the absence of Melissa Leo in the Supporting Actress list. The Fighter also is nominee as Original Screenplay and Supporting Actor, with Christian Bale.
The awards take place on 13th February 2011.

Critics’ Choice Awards: Melissa Leo wins

Unfortunately, Amy Adams didn’t win the Best Supporting Actress award tonight. But “The Fighter” continue growing, because Melissa Leo got it!

Amy makes the BAFTA longlist

The long list of nominees for the British Academy Film Awards have been announced and Amy is one of the fifteen chosen for best supporting actress, sharing the list with her co-star Melissa Leo, Winona Ryder, Mila Kunis, Helena Bonhan Carter and others.

The longlists are made up of the 15 contenders in each category, chosen by BAFTA members in the first round of voting, which closed Jan. 5. In the second round, voters will select the five nominees, to be unveiled Jan. 18.
The BAFTAs will be awarded on Feb 13.

Nomination from the Central Ohio Film Critics Association

The Central Ohio Film Critics Association have nominated Amy for Best Supporting Actress in their yearly awards. Melissa Leo and Christian Bale got also nods, the whole cast as Best Essemble, as also “The Fighter” as Best Movie. Winners are announced on January 6th.

No ‘Satellite Awards’ for Amy

The International Press Academy handed out the trophies for their 15th annual Satellite Awards at a gala awards ceremony at the Intercontinental Hotel in Century City today. We previously reported that Amy was nominated for Actress in a Supporting Role for The Fighter.

Unfortunately, Amy did not win in her category. But Amy Adams Fan would like to congratulate Christian Bale for winning as Actor in a Supporting Role.

Amy Adams: Detroit Film Critics Winner

Amy Adams won the Detroit Film Critics as Best Supporting Actress for her role in The Fighter.
She was competing with Melissa Leo in the same category. The co-star Christian Bale also won as Supporting Actor.

The Fighter was also nominated as “Best Essemble”.

Congratulations to Amy and the whole team of The Fighter. Can we be sure now Amy will have her 3rd Oscar nomination?

Edit: Just found out that Amy won the Sierra Awards given by The Las Vegas Film Critics Society Awards as Best Supporting Actress. Same with Christian Bale. ๐Ÿ™‚
She’s also nominee at Chicago Film Critics. Wasn’t able to find the date when winners will be announced.
