Amy got a SAG Awards nomination!

“The King’s Speech” and “The Fighter” solidified their positions as Oscars front-runners Thursday morning when they each received four nominations for the 17th Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Amy and Melissa Leo were nominated as “Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role”. Christian bale got a nod as “Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role”, and also the cast got a nomination as “Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture”.

The 17th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will be simulcast live nationally on TNT and TBS on Sunday, Jan. 30 from the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center.

Congratulations to Amy and the whole “The Fighter” cast and crew.

Amy got a Golden Globe nomination!

The Golden Globe nominations were announced this morning and Amy got a nomination for her role in “The Fighter” as Actress, Supporting role in a motion picture. As her nomination at Critics Choice, she will compete with Melissa Leo.
Christian Bale also got a not as Actor, Supporting role in a motion picture, Mark Wahlberg as Actor in a motion picture, Drama and “The Fighter” is nominated as Best Motion Picture, Drama

The 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards show will air live coast-to-coast on Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011 on NBC from 5:00-8:00 p.m. (PST) /8:00-11:00 p.m. (EST) from the Beverly Hilton Hotel with host Ricky Gervais.

Amy is nominated for Critics Choice

The Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) has announced the nominees for the 16th annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards. The winners will be announced at the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards ceremony on Friday, January 14, 2011 at 9:00 PM ET/PT. This year’s event will again take place at the Hollywood Palladium. This is the fourth year in a row that VH1 will broadcast the gala live on the network and the first year the show will also be broadcast internationally.

Amy Adams will be seeking her second Critics’ Choice Award as a Best Supporting Actress nominee in “The Fighter.” Adams previously won the category for “Junebug” and has received three other nods from the BFCA, including one for Best Actress in “Enchanted.”

Her co-star Melissa Leo was also nominated in the very same category. Christian Bale got a nod as Best Supporting Actor, and “The Fighter” is also nominated as Best Picture.

Yesterday The 2010 Satellite Award nominees were announced, and Amy has been nominated for “Best Supporting Actress”, for her role in “The Fighter”.
