Amy was beautiful today while attending the 2013 Oscar Nominees luncheon! She was wearing a J. Mendel dress, Casadei shoes, and Amrapali earrings, as you can see in the pictures below:
Four-time Academy Award nominee Amy Adams was honored with the Cinema Vanguard Award at the 28th Santa Barbara International Film Festival on Thursday Jan. 31, 2013. Adams looked back on her extraordinary career as an actress and shared how she took on such unique and strong characters in such films as “Junebug,” “Enchanted,” “Doubt,” “Julie & Julia,” “The Fighter,” and “The Master.”
The Cinema Vanguard Award is presented by the festival to an actor who shows fearless commitment to the craft. Adams was presented with her award by her “The Master” director Paul Thomas Anderson. Her co-star in the film, Joaquin Phoenix, was in the audience to pay tribute to her.
I have over 160 HQ pictures up in the gallery, as you can see below:
So as announced, Amy is one of the celebrities featured on March issue of Vanity Fair, the Hollywood Issue.
I still didn’t had a chance to see the full editorial, but Fashion Scans Remastered had a HQ preview of Amy, which you can also see in our gallery. As soon we have access to the full editorial, it will be posted here.
Vanity Fair embraced a new look for 2013’s Hollywood Issue by giving creative control over to acclaimed photographer Bruce Weber and the results are glorious!
Featured in the portfolio are stunning snaps of Hollywood’s hottest stars. In addition to cover subjects Emma Stone, Ben Affleck and Bradley Cooper, Halle Berry, Tom Hanks, the Fanning sisters, Ewan McGregor, Amy Adams, Henry Cavill, Liam Hemsworth and Benedict Cumberbatch are featured in new portraits, while vintage Brad Pitt, Joaquin Phoenix, Meryl Streep, Richard Gere, Sean Penn and Elizabeth Taylor Weber images are also included.
DesdeHollywood.com published this picture last night claiming it’s an official material because the image is accompanied by a watermark from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures.
The photo sees Adams in what appears to be an office. She looks neat in her working suit, carrying a tablet while her hair is arranged into a simple bun. The picture is presented in black-and-white. Desde Hollywood explains that “the image comes from a black and white booklet printed and passed around in an event honoring Amy Adams.”
Last night, Amy Adams appeared on a very special episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, hosted by Matt Damon and re-titled Jimmy Kimmel Sucks! Tons of celebrities guested the show to trash-talk Jimmy Kimmel (all in good humor) with guest host – and self-proclaimed Kimmel-hater – Matt Damon. Amy looked gorgeous as she told Damon about the worst experience of her life (and yes, it involved Kimmel) and was super cute with pal Reese Witherspoon. I have added HD screen captures, official stills and the full video clip of Amy’s appearance to the site.
The Danish American Chamber of Commerce Georgia has named Amy Adams its second annual Danish-American actress of the year.
The award, which is given to American actresses with Danish ancestry, last year went to Scarlett Johansson, the daughter of an American mother and a Danish-born father.
Amy was born on a U.S. military base Italy to American parents and grew up in Colorado, according to IMDB.com. She has Danish heritage on her mother’s side. She accepted the award with a statement to the Danish Honorary Consulate in Macon, which is headed by honorary consul Christopher Smith, a local attorney.
It is an honor to be recognized by the Danish American Chamber of Commerce with the 2013 Danish American actress of the year award. I am humbled that my work has resonated with the DACC and I’m grateful for their support.
